A campsite nestled amid vineyards

The Domaine de l'Etang is surrounded by the vineyards of the Anjou-Saumur wine-growing region - the third largest in France after Bordeaux and Bourgogne. Interested in the wine route? Why not visit the local vineyards and talk to wine-growers about their work and what makes their region so special. Or explore the tufa-stone wine cellars of Saumur, which are ideal for producing wine with fine bubbles. The campsite also owns seven hectares of vineyards, where you’re invited to taste our wines for free during our twice-weekly wine-tasting sessions.
